MEET Casual Dining, founded in January 2017, visions itself to be a meeting place for families and friends over a meal.
We achieve this vision through 4 main factors. Mainly, affordable price, food quality, passionate service standards and our restaurant's ambiance.
We have also managed to have an average of 23.24% increment in sales throughout the 4 months. In order for us to achieve positive profit, we controlled our labor and food costing within a certain range. We controlled on our food costing not by lowering food quality and quantity but instead, lowering on food wastage. Controlling of labor costs does not equal to over worked employees but instead planning of schedule strategically to the needs of operations.
Marketing contributed the most towards the increase in sales. We focused on 2 types of marketing, traditional and online.
For traditional marketing, we did flyer distribution, poster stands and advertisement space in City Square Mall itself.
For online marketing, we are working with a few vendors to expand our visibility, mainly in delivery, online reservation and sales platform.
The core value of MEET is employees' welfare. We believe strongly that only when we can care for our employee, then they will be able to care for our customers. It is a cycle that will increase customer satisfaction, employees' job fulfillment and eventually increase in sales figure. We strive to create and maintain a long-term employment and customer relationship for the company to be moving in a steady growth.
MEET also believe strongly in giving back to the society and raising social awareness. Hence, MEET is organizing a satellite event with Hair For Hope which will take place on 1st July 2017 in City Square Mall. As we are the first F&B business to collaborate with Children's Cancer Foundation(CCF) to host a satellite Hair For Hope event, they will be doing a press release with MEET as the main organizer. Through this, we would be able to boost our visibility wider and faster.
Moving on, we will be holding unplugged live music performance in the restaurant to offer to customers another unique experience.
Within 4 months of operation, we have successfully held 3 company events and have received queries for another 4 birthday parties with 60 to 80 people.
We will be doing a shift from french fusion to local western fusion on our next menu change in 3 months time. Our aim is to expand into another 4 outlets within the next 2 years and to curate another 2 new concepts within the next 5 years.
Bringing local food and local talents onto the map is our mission!
