I’m writing on behalf of a newly-incorporated film production company in Singapore started by a group of undergraduates.
For the past few years, we have been working on commercials and corporate projects. Our major clients include corporate banks and charity foundations.
At present, we are looking to grow the company and delve into feature film making, specifically the horror genre which becomes our specialisation. We are looking at an investment of S$250,000 for a horror project in development and have been in talks with media practictioners, renowned actors, etc. to bring this project to life. The horror film is an anthology, which means a compilation of three short films that tell one over-arching story. The anthology will be directed by different directors, and will involve directors who have previously helmed feature length projects.
The film is targeted for a commercial theatrical release and it is our largest project ever. The project will also be made in close collaboration with one of the largest production companies in Singapore by one of Singapore’s most reputable filmmakers.
We are currently looking for an investor who is able to invest a grand sum of S$250,000 into the company, which translates to 25% stakes the investor holds of the company.
Due to confidentiality reasons, we can only release the full screenplay to the investor upon signing of the Investor Agreement.
For time being, we are only able to present the investor with our plan, and a black and white sign-off that the company will proceed with the details in the proposal plan. The details include overall treatment, proposed talents, schedule and production budget.
However, the role of the investor we are looking for is purely an investor. Deposit of funds will be in stages:
(1) Upon signing-off: $50,000
(2) Upon pre-production: $80,000
(3) Upon principal photography: $80,000
(4) Upon release of the film: $40,000
We are looking for a sincere investor, and please feel free to contact me direct, or leave me a message via this website.
