My client is a bespoke caterer currently operating at a cloud kitchen facility. They will be bringing a list of their existing kitchen equipment to the new premises and aim to scale up their business by procuring their own central kitchen-cum-office. They have been around since 2016 and are currently profitable.

The investment amount is SGD$75,000 and will be used as CAPEX to setup the place and hire additional staff.


You as an investor will be given equity in the company as a shareholder as well as a seat on the Board. And you also don’t have to be involved in the day-to-day operations.


The total amount asking for is $225,000 with a total of 3 shareholders each holding 22% equity of the company. The owner will hold the balance 34%.


The current business model mainly focuses on B2B meal box orders, as well as mini drop-off buffets for corporate/personal orders. As they scale up, they will also be expanding into curating bespoke platters, easy-to-eat meals-in-a-bag, and modern gift boxes/care packages as well.


Catering companies have less manpower constraints as orders are always made in advance. There also won’t be any dine-ins so it does away with the need for service staff as the company will strictly operate on a self-pickup/delivery basis.
