Curves is a women-only, circuit training gym that provides a 30-minute workout that combines strength and cardio exercise. The strength-training component utilizes hydraulic resistance machines, which means no weight stacks to manage, and the entire routine is set to lively music. The hydraulic machines also provide cardio.   

Curves, Marine Parade opened on 23 July 2007. It is part of the growing Malaysian/Singapore group. Curves, Marine Parade has established a reputation for outstanding service and providing a comfortable environment for all women. Our outstanding service is noted by both members and visitors. Our coaches ensure our members get a complete workout in the circuit, safely but maximizing their effort at their particular fitness level. This factor is the reason behind our solid reputation. The new owner most likely would sign a 5-year Franchise Agreement (FA), but it may be possible to finish the current owner’s 3 years remaining on his FA. You could not own or operate similar businesses while owning a Curves. Of course, you can own other Curves franchises.

Curves headquarters requires minimum of 75000 US Dollar net worth. Of that, a minimum of 15000 US Dollars should be in cash (checking account or related). Franchise HQ also requires: Business plan; Resume Personal financial statement.

As an established franchise, support is strong and sophisticated. You will have access to Club Development Team at USA HQ, Mentor Club Visit, Club Camp and certification program. You’ll feel comfort with every aspect of running your Curves before you ever begin. In addition, seller will provide appropriate support during transition. As the owner/manager for almost seven years, he has gained much knowledge and insight. Then you have ongoing support such as online access to tools, an Area Director out of Kuala Lumpur, and area support meetings. For Marketing & Product Support, there is new corporate ownership at HQ in USA that will provide marketing and product initiatives.

Most likely a woman, with an outgoing personality who loves to work with women to help them reach their fitness goals. However, a man can be an owner but operational manager should probably be a woman.
